My new favorite bedtime drink : Golden Turmeric Milk

We all have heard the amazing health benefits of Turmeric, but figuring out how to incorporate this beloved spice into your daily routine has always been something I've struggled with. This twist on Turmeric has become a staple in my bedtime routine; although my fridge might be sparse, the ingredients for this soothing drink can always be found.

There are plenty of recipes out there, but the best one we've tried came from the one + only Kris carr...Find it in her newest book, Crazy Sexy Juice.

 

3 cups almond milk

4 ounces canned coconut milk

1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric powder or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, peeled

1/2-inch piece ginger, peeled

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon cardamom

2 tablespoons maple syrup

Blend all ingredients together in a blender till smooth. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
