Creating has always been an important part of my life. As a Speech Language Pathologist and mother of four, I spent many hours sewing, painting decorative finishes and crafting with my children and students. All the while, my passion for jewelry design evolved from designing pieces for friends and close relatives to selling online and finally, in boutiques throughout the United States. Felicity Jewelry Designs is now my complete focus, and it is my pleasure to present these pieces to you.
Felicity can been defined as, "source of happiness/joy and of pleasing style and expression". It is my goal that each piece of fashion jewelry I create is a vivid representation of this.
About Felicity Designs.....
I insist on working with quality materials to ensure that the finished piece is beautiful and can endure regular wear for years to come. My jewelry pieces will include, sterling silver, gold fill, natural antiqued brass, precious and semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski Crystals, Artisan created beads, quality glass beads, genuine Murano glass, Thai Silver and Balinese Silver.
I continue to enjoy working with Metal Clay and Bronzclay. I find these mediums to be inspiring and I have thoroughly enjoyed creating new jewelry with them. Precious Metal Clay becomes Fine Silver (.999 Pure Silver) following a rigorous process of rolling, stamping, kiln firing, burnishing, tumbling and antiquing. Similarly, Bronzclay can be worked with and kiln fired to reveal solid bronze pieces with a density 90% that of cast bronze. I am happy to display such pieces in my shop and look forward to adding many more.
Each piece is thoroughly and truthfully described and I am careful to reference the many talented Glass Artisans whose stunning artwork I incorporate into my creations.
